My nephew just picked up a huge lot of Warhammer 40K stuff from Craig's list and this what he found in it. Darth Vader, Boba Fett, some Stormtroopers, and one of those scout droids from The Empire Strikes Back.
These are some very simple conversions. In fact, the Stormtroopers aren't even converted! They're just Space Marines with white and black paint.
Looks like this is what I'm going to do with the Space Marines left over from my Assault on Black Reach sets.

Nice Vindicare Assassin conversion. A little bloody, though.

ReplyDeleteThe probe droid took me a couple of minute to see what it was made from.
ReplyDeleteThe legs are the plastic left-overs from a sprue cut at angles. The body is a hatch and weapon's mount hatch from a Rhino. Whoever made it had a really good eye to see something out of left-over bitz.
